Terms and conditions

For Braials students · version 1.0 · 27 September 2026 · Nederlandse versie

This is a translation of the Dutch terms and conditions. If the two versions differ, the Dutch version applies.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Braials is a service of BRAIALS LTDA., a company incorporated under Brazilian law (CNPJ 69.137.980/0001-75), with its registered office at Rua 7, nº 457, Sala 3, Estação 2, Centro, CEP 13500-143, Rio Claro-SP, Brasil ("Braials", "we"). Lessons are taught by teacher Iskander Al-Sarayfi. You can reach us at [email protected].

These terms apply to the free trial lesson, 1-on-1 lessons, group courses and your student account on the braials.com practice platform.

If we have agreed something different with you in writing (including by email), that agreement takes precedence. The lessons are intended for adults. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

2. The free trial lesson

The trial lesson lasts 30 minutes, takes place online by video call and is free. We discuss your goal and look at where you are now. There is no obligation: after the trial lesson you decide for yourself whether you want to continue.

3. 1-on-1 lessons

4. Group courses

5. Cooling-off period (right of withdrawal)

If you live in the European Union and buy as a private individual, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. It starts on the day you pay. Within those 14 days you can withdraw from your block or course without giving a reason.

6. Lesson recordings

We may record an online lesson (video and audio) to make a written transcript of it. This lets us look at your speaking time and your mistakes, and give you more targeted feedback and homework.

More about how we handle your data is in the privacy statement (in Dutch).

7. Your account and the practice platform

8. Results and liability

9. Complaints

If you are not happy with something, let us know at [email protected]. We respond within 14 days and look for a solution together with you.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. New terms apply to blocks and courses you buy afterwards; for what you have already paid for, the terms in force at that time apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you can also go to court there.
